Our Forwarding Company, founded in 1984 and based in Balerna (Switzerland), is specialized in multimodal transports all over the world. Our multilingual staff is a mix of nationalities with years of experience in international transports. That’s what makes our presence in the centre of Europe so special: easy communication with suppliers and customers.
As a consequence of the market liberalisation we developed from a company specialised in Holland – Italy traffic into a European player serving almost any country. Globalisation made us look beyond the European frontiers to respond to the needs of our customers for intercontinental transports. Since 2015 we offer container transport by rail between Europe and China as an interesting alternative for sea and air freight.
The use of our own container fleet in combination with excellent local agents allows us to control shipments from start to finish. We offer client dedicated services, which means that the contact person at Richard Kempers is your personal planner. This convinced many multinational companies to trust us their business.
During the years we have proven to be a reliable and flexible partner who always seriously considers customer’s specific demands. Consequently we are in the position to execute last minute orders and offer solutions in difficult situations as well.
